NASBA Isothermal Technique: a Novel Tool for Mycobacterium tuberculosis Diagnosis
Background and Objectives: rapid, accurate and cost effective diagnosis of infectious and non infectious diseases is an essential step for treatment process. Nowadays, in Line with scientific progression in molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry which are based on biotechnology and genetic engineering aspects, new branch of medicine entitled molecular medicine is being derived. It can be ...
متن کاملMesh Independence of Matrix-Free Methods for Path Following
W. R. FERNG AND C. T. KELLEY Abstract. In this paper we consider a matrix-free path following algorithm for nonlinear parameter-dependent compact fixed point problems. We show that if these problems are discretized so that certain collective compactness and strong convergence properties hold, then this algorithm can follow smooth folds and capture simple bifurcations in a mesh independent way.

متن کاملA path-following infeasible interior-point algorithm for semidefinite programming
We present a new algorithm obtained by changing the search directions in the algorithm given in [8]. This algorithm is based on a new technique for finding the search direction and the strategy of the central path. At each iteration, we use only the full Nesterov-Todd (NT)step. Moreover, we obtain the currently best known iteration bound for the infeasible interior-point algorithms with full NT...
متن کاملA Two Level Approximation Technique for Structural Optimization
This work presents a method for optimum design of structures, where the design variables can he considered as Continuous or discrete. The variables are chosen as sizing variables as well as coordinates of joints. The main idea is to reduce the number of structural analyses and the overal cost of optimization. In each design cycle, first the structural response quantities such as forces, displac...
